May 2017 - BT Openreach advise an issue with a wayleave has delayed roll out to June
May 2017 - We are waiting for a response from EE to arrange a meeting to see if we can have some remote equipment in public places to facilitate a mobile signal in the valley.
Feb 2017 Mobile Project - Despite a decision to place this on hold, we have now received further correspondence from the Home Office and EE, see below to those links for more detail. Manafon CC will now share this information with other local community councils with the expectation that if we all continue to lobby fiercely we will get a resolution sooner rather than later and we urge all sister councils to join us in this fight for a reasonable communication platform in the valley.

Jan 2017 - Mobile Project - Manafon CC have decided to put the Mobile Project on hold for now as progress is limited, we will see what progress is made now there is more focus from central government on mobile ' not spots' see link here for more information -
Jan 2017 - Mobile Project - Clerk has escalated to the Home Office and EE to seek feedback on whether or not the local Tetra Mast can be used for public use.
Dec 2016 - Following update received from Project Manager Superfast Cymru "Still on track for Jan as far as the systems are telling me. We are taking on some 3rd party contractors to do a lot of the FTTP build so it may be that you won't see many around at the moment as we are getting them skilled up ready for a big push in the New Year to deliver the FTTP network. Hopefully you will see a lot more activity starting next month and into the New Year"
